Are you and your family new to Doniphan 4-H? Contact the Extension office or local 4-H Club Leader to learn more!
The 4-H year operates from October 1 to September 30. Any Doniphan County youth from age 7-18 may join 4-H and enroll on an annual basis. To join 4-H, youth should be age 7 prior to January 1 of the current 4-H year. 4-H membership opportunities continue until age 18. Youth ages 5 & 6 can participate as 4-H Cloverbuds, which provides an introduction into 4-H.

What does it cost to join 4-H?
The Doniphan County 4-H Council will cover the $15 annual enrollment fee between October 1st and November 30th. After this deadline, the $15 program-enrollment fee must be paid by May 1st in order to participate in County Fair.
With a $15 annual program-enrollment fee, each child will have access to a wide array of development opportunities at the local, regional, and state levels. These structured, hands-on, relevant educational programs will continue the tradition and history of Kansas 4-H in building skills, confidence, and experiences that 4-H youth will carry with them for the rest of their lives. For 4-Hers enrolled in the Cloverbud project, there is no fee.
Annual enrollment opens October 1st.
Steps to Enroll in 4-H
- Select one of Doniphan County's 7 Community Clubs.
- Visit 2-3 clubs to find one that fits your family. Factors to consider may include age of membership, meeting time and location, and project areas of interest.
- Enroll online at v2.4honline.com
- Create a new account, or returning families please log in to your family's account.
- Doniphan County 4-H Council enrollment code waives $15 fees between Oct 1st and Nov 30th.
- Select which projects your youth will be participating in.
Once enrolled, 4-H youth will be eligible to use curriculum and participate in club meetings, workshops, and day camps, and any 4-H sponsored events from the local to the national level.
