Doniphan County Fair
The 2026 Doniphan County Fair will be July 25-31.

Summary of Requirements
Please view the Livestock, Horse, and Small Animals website tab for more information. State Fair requirements can be found on our State Fair website tab.
- Market beef, sheep, and goats weighed in on appropriate dates.
- All livestock tags purchased by May 1 and enrolled in appropriate project on 4-H Online
- All horse papers due in the extension office by May 1.
- All livestock tagged/identified by JUNE 1 and reported to Extension Office.
- County Fair Pen/Stall requests turned in by deadline (July deadline).
Fair Entries and Record Keeping System
We do not utilize an electronic Fair Entry system. We utilize a paper green card system for 4-H. White cards are Open Class entries. Please check out the green card example resource. All livestock, small animals, poultry, FCS, and static Agriculture and Natural Resource projects must fill out both sides of green card.
- Livestock (sheep, goats, cattle, swine) must also fill out one card per entry.
- Open Class Livestock: Adults 18+ or older. No youth are allowed to show in this division due to safety concerns and liability.
Green and White cards are available at the Extension office, and are due as denoted by Fair Schedule.
